Okakura Kakuzō (岡倉覚三), also known as Okakura Tenshin (岡倉 天心), was a Japanese scholar who contributed the development of arts in Japan. Outside Japan, he is chiefly remembered today as the author of 'The Book of Tea'/5. كاكوزو أوكاكورا is the author of The Book of Tea ( avg rating, ratings, reviews, published )/5(77). It’s considered one of the classics of tea culture and has held a wide influence for more than a century. In his essay, Okakura addresses us (the Western audience) and discusses the role of tea in Japanese culture. So to give you something interesting to read, I’m sharing his work here.


Japanese tea ceremonies are typically conducted in specially constructed spaces or rooms designed for the purpose of tea ceremony.
